Tucson Queer Strategic Partnership (TQSP)

 

 

The TQSP is a partnership of organizations collaborating to enhance support and services to the queer community.

The collaborating organizations are: Alliance Fund, Tucson GLBT Chamber of Commerce, PFLAG Tucson, Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF), Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network  (TIHAN), Tucson Commission on LGBTQ Issues,  Tucson Pride Inc, University of Arizona Office of LGBTQ Affairs, University of Arizona President’s Diversity Council and Wingpan.

Alliance Fund - The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Straight (LGBT&S) Alliance Fund is a special project of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona (CFSA), created in 1999 in partnership with the National Lesbian and Gay Community Funding Partnership. The Alliance Fund addresses the chronic pattern of underfunding of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender programs and supports efforts to address these issues through philanthropy and endowment building.

GLBT Chamber of Commerce – The mission of the Tucson GLBT Chamber of Commerce is to promote the success and growth of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and allied business community in Southern Arizona through education, networking, and advocacy.

pflagtucson.org - Tucson chapter of PFLAG: Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays. Provides: Support, to cope with an adverse society; Education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and Advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights.

Southern Arizona Aids Foundation (SAAF)  -  Care services, prevention education and outreach to the people of Southern Arizona living with, affected by, or at risk for HIV and AIDS.

Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network (TIHAN) – The Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network offer our hearts and hands to provide compassionate and non-judgmental service to those affected by HIV/AIDS.

Tucson Commission on LGBT Issues – The mission of the Tucson Commission on Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Issues is to champion equality and well‐being for people in Tucson regarding sexual orientation and gender identity and expression.  Committee members are both elected and appointed.

Tucson Pride Inc – Tucson Pride, Inc. produces and promotes cultural, educational and recreational events for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community in Tucson, Arizona.

University of Arizona Office of LGBTQ Affairs - The Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) Affairs works to build, sustain and strengthen a safe, inclusive, and open environment for faculty, staff, appointed professionals, students, alumni, parents, and guests of all gender identities and sexual orientations.

University of Arizona President’s Diversity Council - The UA President’s Community Diversity Advisory Councils strengthen relationships between the University and the diverse communities within the State of Arizona by serving as a communications conduit and by developing mutually-beneficial partnerships.
