Senior PrideSenior Pride is run solely by volunteers. Wingspan is actively recruiting volunteers of all ages who would like to help organize social and outreach programs for LGBT seniors. Studies show that seniors who identify as LGBT are ten times more likely to feel that they have no one to care for them if they were to fall ill than heterosexual seniors. Wingspan would like to help reduce that social isolation. We need volunteers who identify as senior themselves, as well as younger volunteers. We can all benefit from building strong intergenerational relationships! Your Commitment2-10 hours per month |
