Thank you for making a difference in Southern Arizona’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community with a gift to Wingspan. Your donation supports our youth program, domestic violence services, senior services, support for transgender and questioning people, community information and referrals, lending library, computer center, and all our other services for Southern Arizona’s LGBT community.

As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, all gifts to Wingspan are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by the IRS.

Donate to the Bloom Fund

The Bloom Fund will support Wingspan programs and outreach projects that engage underrepresented communities within the larger LGBT population. These projects include Puertas Abiertas, Southern Arizona Gender Alliance (SAGA), Rainbow Families, Senior Pride, and Rainbow Connect.

Our goal is to find 50 “seed” donors who commit to giving Wingspan $25.00 each month for 1 year.

Donate to the TransParents Camp

The TransParents project was founded in October, 2009. Their mission is “to create and support a network of families embracing their children’s gender non-conformity in a kind and loving manner.” TransParents currently provides a monthly support group for the parents of gender-diverse children from across Southern AZ, offers education to help the broader community better understand the unique experiences of their children and families, and provides opportunities for their children to connect/socialize with one another.

The TransParents group is currently fundraising to begin Southern Arizona’s first camp for transgender and gender nonconforming children ages 5-12 and their immediate families.This Camp is a dream for TransParents families, imagined over a year ago. This opportunity would allow transgender, gender-queer, gender-creative, non-conforming and questioning youth along with their families to experience a weekend free from bullying, harassment and judgment. Additionally, this camp seeks to strengthen the support networks available to these families beyond this one magical weekend.
